Getting Here
Travel to the township is fairly easy as Mulwala and Yarrawonga are located just off the Hume Highway, one of the main driving routs between Sydney and Melbourne.
Flying into Albury Airport will get you the closest, but car hire there is limited so we strongly suggest you book in advance. There are no car hire facilities in Yarrawonga or Mulwala. For a lot of travellers flying into Sydney or Melbourne, Albury will be your next leg
Melbourne International Airport (MEL) is the feeder airport and is approximately three hours drive from Mulwala. Melbourne is a great place to visit whilst you’re here and it has plenty of car hire facilities as well as good access to trains and buses. Sydney International Airport is at least a 6 hour drive.

Transport options will generally fall into the following:
- Officials can be picked up at the Albury Regional Airport. Some coordination of arrival times will be required to assist the LOC with planning.
- Skiers can opt to hire a vehicle.
- Alternately the LOC can provide a pick up service from Albury Regional Airport or from the V Line Stations of Wangaratta or Benalla at a small cost per person to be advised. Single skiers can apply for this option but may have to wait for later arrivals to make up the numbers. V Line trains depart from the Melbourne Southern Cross Station. We regret that we cannot provide a pick up service from Melbourne Airport.
