Travel Insurance

The IWWF By-Law 16.1 states that it is the responsibility of each Federation when entering competitors for a World Titled Event to ensure that its competitors are adequately insured for personal accident, permanent disabilities, death and medical expenses.  It is strongly that you bring the claims process and insurance contact details with you.  Australian participants will be covered by Waterski & Wakeboard Australia per the IWWF B-Law.

All athletes and officials will be covered by Wakeboard & Water Ski Australia Insurance Public Liability Policy for the duration of the event. For all other travel insurances, the LOC strongly suggest that all participants take out travel insurance to cover items not covered above such as travel and equipment loss or damage.

Medical Plan 

A medical plan will be in place in case of illness or injury.  This will include a 1st Aid Facilty on site as well as an ambulance on call should hospitalisation be required.
